AstroTarot Card of the Month

Aquarius

January 20th - February 19th

Aquarius

Aquarius, the 11th sign of the zodiac is the sign of inner character. It is ruled by Saturn and Uranus and this sign is referred to as the Water-Bearer. Although many think this sign is a water sign, it is actually an air sign. Aquarius is masculine and fixed (strong and solid). Aquarius governs intellect, originality and creativity. Aquarians are intelligent, inventive, and often unorthodox. However, they can come across to the rest of the world as emotionally detached and personally uninvolved.

Uranus, the planet of all that's eclectic and unorthodox can make Aquarians appear unpredictable and eccentric. Saturn, a restrictive planet helps to counteract and stabilize some of these qualities by grounding Aquarians. Therefore, they are often quite stable in structured work environments. The astrological symbol for Aquarius is a man pouring water, which symbolizes the collective consciousness of mankind. As an idealist you are an independent and innovative thinker, however your intent is always done with the highest good in mind.

Aquarius rules shins, ankles and the circulatory system. You are often prone to allergies and can be prone to nervous disorders.

Aquarian colors are silver, purples and aquas, and their flowers are Bird of Paradise, Gladiolas and Tiger Lily. Your birthstone is Amethyst.
